The Ordinary EUK 134 0.1% is an antioxidant that regenerates itself. Most antioxidants are consumed as they neutralise free radicals; EUK 134 mimics both superoxide dismutase and catalase, converting reactive oxygen species into water and oxygen and then reforming — meaning it keeps working around the clock. Most formulas that use it stay below 0.05%. This one runs at 0.1%.
🎯 What It Does
- Scavenges free radicals continuously — self-regenerating action means protection does not run out
- Neutralises hydrogen peroxide — converts reactive oxygen species into harmless water and oxygen
- Defends against environmental stress — the daily damage that accelerates visible ageing
- Boosts other products — can be mixed into serums or creams to raise their antioxidant capacity
- Contains no water — water impairs antioxidant stability, so this formula omits it entirely
🔬 Key Ingredients
- EUK 134 (0.1%) — a manganese-based superoxide dismutase and catalase mimetic; among the strongest antioxidants available
📋 How to Use
- Apply alone, or after water-based serums and before oils and heavier creams.
- Alternatively, mix a few drops into another treatment to boost its antioxidant capacity.
Important. EUK 134 is manganese-based and is completely destroyed by strong acids. Do not use it with highly acidic formulations such as Ascorbic Acid suspensions. If you also use Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%, apply them at different times of day or in clearly separate steps.
