Beauty of Joseon Green Plum Refreshing Toner: AHA + BHA is deliberately low-concentration — 2% glycolic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid, mild enough for twice-daily use. The brand's reasoning is that consistent gentle exfoliation beats occasional strong exfoliation, and that cosmetics should not behave like drugs.
🎯 What It Does
- Removes dead skin daily — wipes away what cleansing leaves behind, morning and evening
- Clears pore buildup — prevents the congestion that causes inflammation and dullness
- Smooths skin texture — plum water refines the surface
- Soothes as it exfoliates — mung bean extract calms the skin
- Improves absorption — a clear surface lets subsequent products work
- Stays mild by design — low acid concentrations chosen deliberately over aggressive ones
🔬 Key Ingredients
- Green Plum Water 25% — smooths skin texture and provides moisture
- Mung Bean Extract 2% — soothes the skin
- Glycolic Acid 2% (AHA) — surface exfoliation
- Salicylic Acid 0.5% (BHA) — clears inside the pore
- Ginseng Root & Purslane Extract — condition and calm
📋 How to Use
- After cleansing morning and evening, moisten a cotton pad.
- Wipe gently from the inside of the face outwards.
- Alternatively, pat a sufficient amount in with your palms.
- Use sunscreen during the day.
If you are new to AHA or BHA, or have very sensitive skin, patch test with a small amount first.
