The Ordinary Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution solves a real formulation problem. In water-based salicylic acid products, only part of the acid exists in its active free-acid form, and how much depends entirely on pH. This formula contains no water at all — which releases the acid in its free, unionised form regardless of pH, in a squalane base chosen to reduce the irritation salicylic acid usually brings.

📋 How to Use

1. Apply morning and evening.
2. Use a small dot on target areas, or a small amount across the face for general use.
3. Avoid the eye contour and contact with the eyes.

Do not use on sensitive, peeling or compromised skin. Patch test first: apply as directed to a small area once daily for three days. Sunburn alert: this product contains a beta hydroxy acid that may increase your skin's sensitivity to the sun and the possibility of sunburn. Use sunscreen, wear protective clothing and limit sun exposure while using it and for a week afterwards.
